With 18 exhibition venues, more than 300 artists, and 50 adjunct events, with works spanning 121 years of Boulder art history—no one ever thought it would be easy.
But Celebration! A History of the Visual Arts in Boulder has already been an extraordinarily successful one-time grassroots event created from a passion to ensure that Boulder’s artistic past is properly is celebrated and documented.
So far we have been successful in raising nearly all of the monies necessary for providing the citizens of Boulder an abundance of art offerings that, according to research, is unprecedented in any other city for an event of its kind.
We still need your support
Although we are in full swing, we still need $10,000 for the completion of the catalogue, honoraria for our curators, and other expenses . If you’ve attended one of our events or plan to in the future, or simply appreciate that a small group of local folks got together to remember and appreciate our Boulder visual artists, please consider a gift in any amount to help ensure that all can be paid.
